How AI is transforming Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is essential for managing the growing complexity of modern systems. With the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), MBSE is undergoing a significant transformation. AI-powered capabilities are enabling automation of requirements engineering, intelligent derivation of use cases, and faster design iterations using prompt-driven approaches. These advancements are helping organizations improve efficiency, reduce errors, and accelerate development cycles. This session will focus on how AI integrates with MBSE workflows, supported by real-world examples and demonstrations using tools such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM), IBM BOB, and IBM Rhapsody. Attendees will gain insights into how human-in-the-loop AI enhances decision-making, improves system quality, and fosters collaboration across engineering teams. The session will highlight practical applications and strategies to adopt AI-driven MBSE in enterprise environments.
This event is produced by the Systems Engineering Society of Australia (SESA).
This event will be offered both in-person in Sydney and online. Food and refreshments will be provided at this event. Details and registration can be found at the Engineers Australia event page.
