DESCRIPTION:The inaugural Integrated Project Engineering Congress (IPEC)\, developed in response to market demand\, promises to be one of industry’s most influential\, transdisciplinary events\, covering topics of Leadership and Management\, whilst bringing together representatives from within the fields of Risk\, Systems Engineering\, Cost Engineering\, Project Controls and Asset Management. \n \n \nAll presentations will be delivered virtual to participants\, providing the opportunity to network and watch the presentations anywhere in the world.  The program format will allow for Technical Presentations in the morning followed by networking online on the virtual platform.  In the afternoon\, on each day we will hear from our Plenary Speakers who will provide an insight and talk in their professional field with a focus on our congress themes. \nIPEC will provide participants with access to: \n\nAn exciting line-up of national speakers\nA Technical Program that will deliver over 75 presentations from the various fields\nParticipants can claim up to 14 hours of CPD\nConnect and engage with our product specialists in the Technology Hub\nOpportunity to attend an evening Networking opportunity for the afternoon session on the following designated day alternatively delegates can view presentations online:\n\nThursday 27 May: Engineers Australia Brisbane Office\, Level 9/340 Adelaide Street\, Brisbane City\, QLD 4000\nFriday 28 May: Engineers Australia Sydney Office\, Mezzanine Level\, 44 Market Street Sydney NSW 2000\nPresentations will be streamed virtually into the offices\, and will conclude with Networking Reception\n\n\n\nDon’t miss the opportunity to attend! Explore the website to learn more about the Congress. \n  \n\n\n\nIPEC Plenary Program & Speakers\nTwo networking opportunities available to hear from our plenary speakers and to network with fellow attendees.  An opportunity to attend in-person or virtually online. \nThursday 27th May\nIn-person: Brisbane Engineers Australia Office; Level 9/340 Adelaide St Brisbane \nWebinar Available \n$150 per person online or in-person \nIn-person includes drinks and canapes \nOur future world: megatrends\, the interaction of AI with humans and the importance of governance in transformation \nDigitisation is the central theme to this series of presentations. Dr Hajkowicz will provide an update on CSIRO’s global megatrends\, which are gradual yet powerful shifts in the environment and\, he will share the drivers that are going to reshape the landscape and impact the engineering profession over the coming 20 years. Technology\, climate change\, emerging economies\, digitisation will all be covered in his presentation. Professor Paul Salmon and Gemma Read will outline the consideration of human factors  that need to be made when designing AI-based systems\, whilst Sandra Diethelm will talk about effective governance frameworks that are critical in the delivery of any change or transformation project. \nEvent Program \n03:30pm              Arrival \n04:00pm              Our Future World: Megatrends Reshaping Livelihoods and Lifestyles over the coming decades – Stefan Hajkowicz\, Senior Principal Scientist – Strategy\, Foresight and Decision (In-Person) \n04:45pm              Houston\, we have a Problem!
