SESA is a Technical Society of Engineers Australia. SESA's mission is to foster the definition, understanding, practice and advancement of Systems Engineering in Australian Industry, Academia and Government. Systems Engineering is applicable to many types of projects, including software intensive systems projects, where the structured guidelines promoted in current international commercial and military standards should be applied.
SESA aims to provide the national vehicle to make Systems Projects successful through the establishment of a viable Systems Engineering culture in Australia.
Membership is open to everyone with an interest in Systems Engineering. Systems Engineering is a multi-disciplinary field and benefits from the diverse background of its members. SESA membership comprises people working in fields of software engineering, government, academia, project management, electronic engineering and other relevant fields.
SESA is the lead Systems Engineering learned society within Australia, and is therefore able to offer the following key benefits to all members:

Membership Notes:

Membership Subscription year is 1 July to 30 June to be consistent with Engineers Australia.

The full Membership Subscription is payable with application received July to December. For Membership applications received January - April the fee is discounted by 50%. Membership applications received May - June will be processed and invoiced for the following Year.

Membership renewal notices are sent to all members at end of May. Memberships not paid in a reasonable time will expire and membership privileges will cease.

SESA Membership Subscriptions can be paid by Cheque or Credit card direct to Engineers Australia.

Corporate Memberships.
If you belong to a company or government department involved in the acquisition, design, development, manufacturing, implementation, or support of complex projects and systems, or provide education and training in systems engineering and related fields, then you should consider Corporate Membership of SESA for your organisation.
The scheme is open to any company, organisation, government department, or academic institution, anywhere in the world, which is involved in any aspect of systems engineering.
Additional benefits available to corporate members are as follows.
