The National President is an elected position in the SESA committee and is responsible for providing the coordination and leadership of all SESA related activities. Responsibilities include chairing committee meetings, representing SESA and its interest in Engineering Australia and other like organisations such as INCOSE, providing direction as appropriate and authorising financial actions, strategic and marketing initiatives and other formal documentation as necessary. The National President is supported by strong team including deputy president, treasurer, secretary and industry, government and academia representatives. Regular status on all activities is provided through the website, the newsletters, committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
For myself I work for Thales Australia in the Business Group – Security Solutions & Services, and Aerospace. I am currently the General Manager Technology, Chief Engineer and have overall responsibility on the design of all technical solutions developed for a customer. I am also responsible for the technical strategy for the business group and all Research & Development activities.
